Contemporary Erotic Romance/ Nontraditional Sexualities

James and Bram are back in this delightful sequel to A Bit of Rough.  Dating for several weeks, things heat up as they discover their feelings and as James is still unsure at how he feels. He wants to take things slow and steady and not make any mistakes like before. Bram is so sensual and drives James wild with his passionate yet forceful side. James has a hard time standing up to this force of nature because all Bram has to do is touch him and James is lost in his passion. With shifting sand beneath James’ feet, James has one constant force in his life and that is Bram. With a job that is getting harder to handle, a landlord determined to cause problems, James is lost in a sea of confusion.  When James wants to step back and cool things off a little, Bram lets him; that is until it looks as if James is going to throw away everything they both worked for and let the love between them die. Can Bram make James forget his insecurity and trust in the love Bram has for him? Will James be able to trust the one person who loves him unconditionally? Read the next chapter of this exciting story and fall in love with Bram and James all over again!

Laura Baumbach has done it again. With her delightful storytelling, she has delivered a love story so powerful it brought tears to this reviewer’s eyes. Roughhousing is the next chapter in her critically acclaimed book, A Bit of Rough and takes the reader on a journey of lovers explorations as two strong willed people learn to mesh two very different personalities and lives together. With her wit and prose, Ms. Baumbach delivers a one-two punch as she gets to the complexities of their relationship and the problems facing them through James’s insecurity, problems at work, and the normal give and take of a relationship.

The sexual tension is highly charged throughout the story and it literally gave this reader chills as James and Bram learn to take their relationship to the next level. You will get a sense of how these two interact socially as the tension really heats up at a fancy dinner party and the reader will see who is the bolder of the two. It is a powerful piece that shows how these two men try to make a relationship both believe in work. The love these two shares is so tender, it made this reviewer believe in happily ever after.

Roughhousing takes up right after A Bit of Rough and delivers a powerful performance by this exquisite author. With a powerful story to be told, she captures the true essence of Bram and James. She shows how though Bram may be the stronger of the two, James more than holds his own a few times. Ms. Baumbach writes a stirring love story that will capture the heart of the reader and deliver them to a place where “happily ever after” is not just a myth. This reviewer is highly recommending this wonderful love story. It does have some very erotic sex scenes with m/m and may not be for everyone. With a stroke of her pen, Ms. Braumbach writes a story that will capture the readers’ heart and make them fall in love with her wonderful characters all over again! Run to grab this captivating story and be awed at how these two people fight for a love that is worth more to them than anything else.
