THE PRESSURE OF DARKNESS is a gripping tale that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. This reader could almost visualize the gruesome and sickening death scene of Peter Stryker that author Harry Shannon’s gifted pen details. Makes the reader shudder to read! This reviewer soon found herself deeply engrossed in the intrigue and mystery, did Peter Stryker commit suicide or was it a cleverly constructed murder.

THE PRESSURE OF DARKNESS is a tale well deserving of the title mystery and suspense. This reader can usually pick out the answers to mysteries not to far into the tale, but this one stayed just beyond the reach. The characters were well written and kept will keep the reader on their toes. After all, just who would be willing not to mention able to commit suicide in such a painful and drawn out manner?

Mr Shannon’s offer of THE PRESSURE OF DARKNESS is a highly recommended read for all mystery lovers out there with a word of caution… don’t eat and read at the same time! The two definitely don’t go well together in the case of THE PRESSURE OF DARKNESS.
