ONE MORE TIME?
ONE MORE TIME
is puts a humorous approach on mid-life crisis. Ms. Cross puts a new twist
on “If you love something, set it free” which is what Leslie must
do in order to function.
Ms. Cross pulls you
into her characters from the moment you open the book. Leslie, who is
supposed to be super-organized, is suddenly falling apart at the seams.
She’s dealing with a monster boss, an unbearable teenager and a
mother-in-law who decides to set up camp with her two dogs. It’s
refreshing to see that we are all human.
Matt’s role in
ONE MORE TIME is a classic middle-aged man whom no longer wants to
settle. Though running from your family and obligations might not be the
proper way to handle things, Matt does “pay” for his mistakes. His
struggle for what he wants and what he thinks he wants is a legitimate
issue that this reviewer could relate to.
There were times
when this reviewer became a little overwhelmed with all the medieval
history and lingerie, but it didn’t stop this reviewer from enjoying this
romantic comedy. There were times when this reviewer would be hysterical
with laughter.
Ms. Cross gets a
thumbs-up from this reviewer!
