An ancient evil has
come calling to the new lords of the Were Clans and the woman they have
come to love as their own mate. Allie has just found out what her heritage
was like and that she is now the Priestess of Lady. With her magic as well
as the love and protection of the Were Clans, an ancient vampire and a
half fey knight to help, will it be enough to defeat the evil society bent
on destroying them at all costs?
Lords of Were is a
highly enjoyable story from the exquisite Ms.
D’Arc and will capture the
imagination of the reader from the beginning. From beginning to end, she
captures the imagination with her captivating characters, enthralling
storyline and sexually charged passion that will leave the reader
breathless! With a mystery to solve and great secondary characters, this
author will leave the reader gasping for more by the time the climatic
ending comes.
The twin lords,
Rafe and Tim, are pure sex on
legs. Alpha to the core, this reviewer almost had a complete meltdown when
they stepped onto the pages. Totally sexy, yet each is vulnerable to the
feelings that are invoked in them with their love for
Allie.
Make sure you keep a fire extinguisher handy after the sex starts
exploding between Allie and them.
It is definitely combustible! Allie
is a woman who is confused by the power she has inside her, her new found
family and heritage as well as the ancient evil that is stalking her and
her new found loves. With a captivating innocence and a beauty of the
spirit, she takes center stage over her alpha counterparts in parts. She
definitely captures the reader’s heart with her bold courage and fearless
determination to save her lovers and family.
Lords of Were is the
first in this magnificent series and from beginning to end; this premier
author leads the reader on an edge of the seat ride from start to finish!
Ms.
D’Arc writes poignantly and captures the
characters wonderfully. The only complaint this reviewer had was that I
wished to know what happed to Allie’s parents that were mentioned a few
times during the beginning the story. But all in all, this is a
delightfully hot story that will chase the winter’s cold away! Run to grab
the first in this series and enjoy the
Lords of Were!
