When Saint
arrives at a notorious London brothel to rest, his life, such as it is,
will never be the same. Ivy Dearing, the daughter of the infamous Madam
requests his assistance in finding the murderer of two of the girls who
worked there. Ivy is no stranger to vampires and has always been
attracted to Saint. Now Saint sees her as a woman and no longer the
child he knew before. Ivy is determined to find the killers and Saint
has no choice but to help her. He doesn’t want to lose his heart as he
has suffered loss before, but Ivy proves too much of a temptation. Then
there is another murder and Ivy and Saint find out that there is
something more evil than the undead.
Kathryn Smith has
written a wonderful, sensual romance that will thrill any lover of
vampire romance. Set in historical London, first the murders evoke
memories of Jack the Ripper who had never been caught, so London is in
an uproar wondering if he has returned. Ms. Smith draws her readers
back in time to a place where vampires are known and by some accepted.
Ms. Smith also gives her readers a sensual journey as the attraction
between Saint and Ivy grows. Poor Saint tries to deny this attraction
but Ivy is determined to seduce him. Adventure and action meet them at
every turn and as the bed sheets get hot, murder is ravaging the city.
This is a great read and the third in The Brotherhood of the Night
series.
