Tara has a special talent that made her unwittingly kill a man.  Now she’s not looking for love or intimacy.  The only man who could maybe protect himself against her special power is Cody, the bar keeper who flirts with her outrageously.  But she’s too happy with his friendship to risk a one night stand.  Then there’s Brandon, who’s constantly been hinting at getting together with her, but she knows he doesn’t just want one night.  One night at the bar, a stranger takes a perverse interest in Tara.  Brandon decides there is no time to take chances.  He loves Tara and will now stake his claim on her whether she’s ready or not.  Can Tara trust Brandon?  Can she trust herself not to use her power on him?  Can he show her he’s more than able to take her on? 

This reviewer loved this book.  Michelle Hasker has a way of writing a truly sexy, paranormal story with well thought out characters and a plot that keeps the reader turning the cyber pages.  Ms. Hasker has put so much emotion in Tara’s character.  Her fear of being intimate with a man in case her powers become uncontrollable, her desire for Brandon, her special friendship with Cody; this reviewer loved the interaction between these characters and the plot is great too.  Ms. Hasker blends a bevy of paranormal characters who gather and greet at the Del Fantasma under the watchful eye of the enigmatic Cody.  The sex scenes in this story are hot, sizzling, very sensuous and highly stimulating.  Ms. Hasker knows how to deliver an erotic fizz that will curl the reader’s toes.  This reviewer can highly recommend this delightful read.
