The day
billionaire journalist, Ryan Tanner returns home to Australia dreaming
of blue skies, it’s raining. Despite his jet lagged brain, he notices
the beautiful girl with long legs in the arrivals hall.
Executive editor
of ‘City Girl’ magazine Simone Gray’s eyes linked with his while waiting
for a taxi. Returned from a cycling trip in the Himalayas with two
friends, she’s too tired to stir up interest in a man.
While placing her
luggage in the taxi, Simone’s diary of her travels and secrets, slips
out of her knapsack pocket. Ryan rescues the dairy from the wet tarmac
and then searches for the owner. Erin is shocked to find another
journalist found it, and doesn’t believe he wouldn’t have read it. She’s
never been able to open up her heart, but longs to trust the handsome
man she’s begun to know. Hope blooms–perhaps this exciting man could
really be her Mr. Right.
This is yet
another delightful tale from Ms. Hannay’s vivid imagination. From the
eyes across the arrival lounge, to the meeting of two lost souls who are
confronted with their own demons, this is an enjoyable tale. The action
is easy to follow and the conflicts within the characters are intensely
personal, while being very believable. The main characters are very
human and flawed only because of their pasts. The writing and the
characters are filled with passion, for their work and each other. The
story has the depth needed to bring a deeply passionate tale like this
to a successful conclusion. The diary excerpts of the tale of cycling
across the Himalayas, adds to the plot, giving the reader a glimpse into
another part of the world and the hardships involved.
