Cassandra only
came on the trip with Heather, her friend and her boyfriend Graham
because Heather had told her she may find her own Tarzan. She didn’t
really want to feel like the proverbial third wheel. When Cray shows up
to help her with her tent while her friends were gone, Cassandra feels
that maybe her Tarzan fantasy may come true. She’s attracted to this
man with the startling green eyes. Cray is also drawn to Cassandra but
knows that if he follows through with the calling he feels it could lead
to disaster. But Cray is suspicious of Graham and if his suspicions are
correct, Graham is not all he seems to be and Cassandra is in mortal
danger. His need to protect her is great, and his need to claim her is
greater.
Having recently
read quite a few werewolf stories, this reviewer is delighted to say
that this story by Shannon Leigh is refreshing, different, highly
sensual and very exciting. Ms. Leigh captures her reader and gives them
characters that leap from the pages. The reader will feel for Cassandra
as she fights with her tent, and sigh with longing when Cray shows up as
her hero to save her from sleeping in the open and possibly getting
eaten by insects. LYCAN LORE also throws a new light into the
ways of the werewolf, something a little different and as the reader
reads, she will be hoping that everything turns out fine for Cassandra
and Cray. We must not forget the hot, sizzling sex scenes that will
certainly get the reader hot and bothered. A great read!
