Kira Gunn is a
25-year-old successful businesswoman who remembers nothing before 15 years
ago. Her first memories are of Vincent. Only in her nightmares does she
seem to have some vague recollection of her past, nightmares of horror and
gunshots in an alley.
Vincent Carson is
Kira’s guardian, her protector, and her business partner. He only mission
in life is to give her everything she wants and needs. He has dedicated
his whole life to her from the moment his eyes met hers and he saved her.
But he guards his secrets even from her, even though these secrets will
answer the questions of her past. To learn the truth just might get the
both of them killed.
Karen Wiesner has
penned a not so ordinary book in NO ORDINARY LOVE. The book grabbed
this reviewer’s attention from the very first page. A young woman can not
remember anything prior to her 10th year. Vincent has been the
only family she has ever known. He has made it his mission in life to be
everything and anything she ever needed. He has used means that even she
is not aware of until later in the book and when she discovers some of his
secrets she is not only very upset, she is also determined to find out
what else he has hidden from her all of these years. These characters are
well defined and very believable.
The prose in NO
ORDINARY LOVE flows smoothly and the action keeps the reader on the
edge of their seat. This reviewer felt as though she was right in the
middle of the action due to Ms. Wiesner’s amazing writing ability; kudos
to Ms. Wiesner for this wonderful offering. The plot is well thought out
and not a single loose thread is left at a very satisfying ending. This
reviewer looks forward to the next installment of The Incognito Series.
