THE MYLARI CHRONICLES:  THE SOULMATES is an exceptionally well told story by the wonderful CJ England. With magic, passion, elves and other wonderful things, she literally transported this reviewer to her imaginative story! This reviewer was enthralled with the complex characters, the simmering passion between Talia and Carion and the lush setting that make up the Elvin community. Richly researched, this author sets up the culture of the elves wonderfully and draws the reader into their world with ease.          

Talia is a woman who always knew she didn’t belong and when she enters the Elvin world, she tries so hard to assimilate herself to their culture…with difficulties to say the least. Strong yet tender, this character really captured this reviewer’s heart with her point of view as she tried to tell Calion and others that the Elvin world and Human world are not so different as they think; it is just the way they look that is different. Calion is torn between duty to his King and laws and his growing love for Talia. Calion defiantly was a character this reviewer wanted to slap some sense into several times. Ms. England did a wonderful job in making these two main characters so believable that they take a hold of the reader’s heart and keep it until the end of the book!  

THE MYLARI CHRONICLES:  THE SOULMATES is truly a wonderful story that will have the reader spell bound by the intricate details, complex yet lovable characters and a story that is pure gold! With all that, this is truly one of this reviewer’s favorite fantasy stories to date and can not wait for the next in this exceptional series. Run to grab this book and be prepared to be transported to a place where magic lives long and prosper.
