Ginny gets to
housesit for a year while the family is in England. On Christmas Eve,
after falling asleep while watching the TV, she is awakened by a noise.
She goes out to investigate and is surprised to find a very handsome, but
very frozen man. She manages to get him inside and finds out that he has
lost his memory. In an attempt to warm him, she strips him and herself
and lies with him under the blanket. Soon, things start heating up mighty
fine, but when she awakes the next morning, the man is gone. A trifle
disappointed, one good thing is that she now has a great idea for a story
which she writes with fervor. Still, she hopes to change her life to meet
Mr. Right.
Now Cat Johnson
really knows how to write a short, well plotted story with great
characters that will hold the reader captive until its end! This reviewer
just didn’t want this story to end. The reader can relate to Ginny and
even cheer for her as she meets and connects with the man she finds half
frozen. One may think it a little reckless of Ginny to get so close to a
stranger she hardly knows, but one somehow knows the poor man is really
harmless. Ms. Johnson entertains her readers, gives them great, hot sex
scenes and a truly romantic romance. Ms. Johnson weaves all these
elements together in this tight, short story so that this reviewer spent a
very pleasant hour reading this sensual story.
