While the first four of the seven sisters of the Pleiades have essentially
been lone wolves, or at least worked at your average, every day jobs, Ally
Curran, the fifth of the seven sisters, has worked her way into perhaps
one of the most key jobs any of them could hold. Well, not that the other
sisters have had mundane jobs…from Maya’s talent with computers to
Celene’s as an archeologist, none of them have had routine jobs. It is
just that Ally is the Chief of Research and Development for ORION. ORION,
known for hunting down the sisters, is perhaps the least likely place one
of those very sisters would turn to for a career…yet how utterly devious
of the Anaz-Voohri to place of them amidst those who would be their
greatest enemy. It is when Ally accidentally uncovers top-secret
information, which could endanger the world, that she turns to the
Anaz-Voohri’s true enemy, Mythos for help.
When Ally sends a message to Mythos, the last thing she expected was
Hunter Kent.
Ally does not trust
anyone, especially handsome, daring, and utterly bad boy Hunter. As events
conspire against them, Ally and Hunter find themselves on the run, forced
to work together, and ultimately to test their on true feelings.
From the very first word of FIRE STORM, Colette Denee
grabs her readers and takes them on a non-stop, action packed journey.
Hunter literally took this reviewer’s breath away with his daring and
devil take the hindmost attitude. Readers will find they cannot catch
their breath around this man and at the same time will eagerly await his
next conquest.
Ally is brilliant, as are all of the sisters. Different because of whom
she works for, yet at the same time, utterly devious because of how the
Anaz-Voohri have altered her.
FIRE STORM
is by no means a
slow, easy read. Rather it is one that takes the reader along for the
adventure of a lifetime. As with all of the Operation Pleiades books,
FIRE STORM can be read as a stand alone, but readers will not want to
miss any of this fun, enthralling and thought provoking series.
