Divine By Choice

High school teacher Shannon Parker finally accepted her destiny as the Goddess in the mythic world of Partholon, enjoying her time with her new centaur husband and learning more about the goddess Epona and being pampered to boot by all! All is looking very good and the evil that brought her to this magical world is a distant memory in Shannon’s mind. That is until it wrenches her back to Oklahoma and her own fight begins as she is desperate to get back to the one man she adores and the world she has grown to love. This time Shannon has to fight the growing evil and in return not lose her heart, soul and everything else she holds dear in order to return to Parathon and her rightful place there. Maybe being divine by mistake was a lot better than being DIVINE BY CHOICE!!!

DIVINE BY CHOICE is the next in this wonderful series by PC Cast and had this reviewer enthralled from beginning to end. Continued from Divine by Mistake, this time Shannon has to find a way to return to the world she has grown to love and the people who has cherished her completely. The only alley she has is a man who looks exactly like her Centaur husband yet loves her way too much! This character has definitely grown into her goddess role and is as multidimensional as ever. PC Cast captures the confusion and fear as well as other complex emotions as Shannon figures out what has happened and learns what she has to do in order to return to Parthalon. Her fight to survive and return had this reviewer glued to the edge of her seat and enthralled all at the same time! Ms. Cast definitely delivers a wonderfully complex story to devour and enjoy throughout the winter season! Though this reviewer can say the body count is high and it can be a little gut wrenching to say the least. Be warned the climatic ending will leave you breathless for more!!

DIVINE BY CHOICE is definitely a keeper for this reviewer and urges all who enjoys Ms. Cast’s wonderful novels to grab this one as her next in this exciting series doesn’t come out till September 2007! This is by far one of the best fantasy series and will keep the reader on the edge of t heir seats with the many twists and turns Ms. Cast delivers!
