Historical Romance

The beautiful Royle Sisters are taking London by storm. Could these slightly scandalous sisters be the secret daughters of the highest prince of the land? It has the ton buzzing as one sister has already married well. Now Anne Royle is center stage as she discovers what it means to engage an earl.

The Earl of MacLaren wasn’t looking for a wife but when a beautiful enchantress is at the foot of his bed when he awakens, he does what other hot blooded man does: he took full advantage of the situation! Then before he can blink, his entire family bursts in and this audacious woman announces that she is his betrothed, so needless to what he wants, he is now leg shackled with this brazen seductress.

Beautiful, reserved Anne Royle was never so impulsive before in her entire life. She entered the earl’s bedchamber not to seduce but to see if he had a document that could shed light on her heritage. Now her world is turned upside down and she is trembles at the thought of her wedding night but also longs for this man’s touch. Can Anne learn HOW TO ENGAGE AN EARL? Find out in the next installment of the Royle sisters trilogy!

HOW TO ENGAGE AN EARL is an interesting yet highly engrossing story of three triplet sisters who may or may not be the secret daughter of the highest prince of the land. Beginning to end, the reader is drawn into the next sisters’ story. Anne Royle is determined to find out if the Earl of MacLaren knows anything about her heritage but instead gets caught up in the passion he invokes within her with his touch and caresses. Now bound to each other, she finds out what it means to engage the earl in this next story by author Kathryn Caskie. This reviewer didn’t read the first in the series, How to Seduce a Duke but plans on it as some mention of Anne’s sister is in this installment. Highly amusing, historically accurate to a degree this author takes wonderful advantage of the cracks between recorded and unrecorded events in history and delivers a exquisite story that will keep the reader guessing at the biggest mystery of all: Are the Royle sisters the daughters of the highest prince in England? The final book, How to Propose to a Prince, doesn’t come out till next year but this reviewer is anxious to see if the mystery will be revealed in that book.

If you enjoy a good regency story that has captivating characters, a mystery spread out through three books and passion simmering throughout the pages than grab HOW TO ENGAGE AN EARL and see what happens when the next Royle sister finds herself in over her head with a man determined to master this exquisite beauty.
