Ascension is the brilliant start of a terrific new werewolf series by Ms. Dane. The book is full of intrigue and sensual tension. The story is so well written that the reader is absolutely drawn into it.  

Kari is not a meek heroine, she does not say yes and amen to everything that Andreas tells her, but she has a mind of her own. She is really stubborn and gives him a run for his money. 

Andreas is the typical Alpha hero, but he wouldn’t be whole if not for Kari. She is the other part of his soul and he has no problem showing that side of himself. The air between them is sparkling with the tension between them. 

Add a fantastic set of secondary characters and the result is a real keeper. This reviewer can highly recommend this book to all werewolf fans!

One small warning at the end, there is one small ménage scene as well as an m/m scene for all readers who might have problems with this.
