WIND WORLD:
DESERT WIND by Ms. Boyett-Compo
takes her readers to another world with magic, love, and betrayal. This
reader found the story slow in the beginning as there are many new words
and customs to learn. However, the storyline soon picks up and sweeps the
reader away.
Ms. Boyett-Compo
again shows her gift of developing characters that are wonderfully real.
All of the characters, both the primary and secondary, have their
strengths and weaknesses that make them unique. Sitara and Ardalan both
have very strong personalities. They have been raised to rule their
countries and to put the well being of others in front of their own at
times. That is how their union begins but it quickly turns into a love
match. This reviewer absolutely loved Sitara in that she has a very
strong sense of self and deals well with the prejudice that is showered
upon her by one of Prince Ardalan’s men.
This reviewer
highly recommends DESERT WIND to any reader who enjoys fantasy,
especially epic fantasy. Rush out and get your copy today!
