Regan enjoys her
life as a Vampire Hunter. Regan fought for a long time and finally
conquered her need for blood and no longer has to survive on killing
innocent humans to satisfy her thirst. However another new sensation to
her and yet a very old hunger in its self has chosen to return, lust and
surprisingly along with it love.
Garrett figured his
good looks and rugged features would make him a real ladies man, he just
did not realize what kind of ladies he would be attracting. While was
just wanting to make some decent money, he had no idea his cool job as a
bartender, in an exclusive vampire wannabe club full of the filthy rich
would be so physically satisfying or immortally dangerous.
The language is
modern American style of English with very little street slang in it so
the reader will not get hung on words they have not heard or just do not
know. The settings themselves are very vivid, allowing you to believe you
can feel what they feel, smell what they smell, and taste the same
erogenous flavors as they do. The story revolves around the heroine
giving you a look into what it is like to live in her shoes or should this
reader say fangs.
Vampire Hunter:
Book 1- Vintages is a great beginning to an epic series full of lust
and blood. Ann
Cory has created a tantalizing hero and
a sassy heroine. Both have issues to deal with allowing for them to grow
as the series moves forward. This reader cannot wait for the next
installment to see what the Hunter and her human Body Guard get into
next. Anyone who enjoys lust, blood, and mystery will enjoy this story,
and the reviewer cannot help but wonder what sticky situation they will
find themselves in next time.
