Leigh
has discovered that her husband has emotionally cheated on her. She has
left their home to go back to her grandmother’s old home to heal and give
thought to her next step. While there, she discovers an old journal that
might have been written by an ancestor and a broken STAINED GLASS
WINDOW that both hold mysteries and maybe even hints at a treasure.
When her husband shows up to try to reconstruct their relationship they
are put into situations that toss them together. Will they discover the
past mysteries and find their way back to each other?
STAINED GLASS WINDOW
is a look into the heart and mind of a woman searching for truth in her
past and in her present. The characters in this tale are believable and
well thought out. Not in many
books with cheating husbands has this reader liked the man. But in
STAINED GLASS WINDOW
our leading man, Phillip, has many redeeming qualities that had this
reviewer rooting for him, amazing though that might be. With Leigh, this
reader did not feel her a fool for considering taking back a cheating
man. Both of these characters discover God and the power of forgiveness
and Innis Grace wrote this storyline in such a way that has the reader
rooting for our couple’s future happiness.
The
best part of this tale is the mystery of the journal that Leigh found. The
journal tells the story of a young woman who fights to win the man of her
dreams against all odds, a sad and often poignant story that had this
reviewer looking ahead for more entries in this mysterious lady’s life.
What a wonderful and unique blend of past and present has Ms. Grace given
her readers. Do not miss out on STAINED GLASS WINDOW. It is truly a
delightful and insightful read.
