Wow - what a great start to this anthology!! This story starts off with a bang and continues until the very end. We have two very likable main characters with strong feelings for each other. The only thing marring a very happy ending is the animosity that Abby’s family has for Jake. How these two works through their problem is just HOT!!!!

Bunko by Sheri Gilmore

Tu Tran works for Jack Noblin. She is more than a little attracted to him and does what she can to make him notice her. Unfortunately, she isn’t getting the right reaction so she gives up on him and decides to find herself a “f*** buddy” instead. Jack is interested in her and overhears her intentions - he will derail her plans.

This was a highly sexual story but filled with humor. This reader loved how the author incorporated the bunko parties into the storyline. Tu and Jack’s chemistry is apparent from the get go. The eroticism builds and explodes onto the pages as Jack takes command of the situation. Ms. Gilmore does a fabulous job of developing her characters with so few pages. This reader laughed and cried with Tu as her story progressed as well as empathizing with Jack. Bunko is as much fun as the actual game!!

Kyle and Darcy’s chemistry makes this story go. They pull us into their story and what a story it is. Kyle is man at a crossroad in his life. He can do what his father wants or try to blaze a path of his own. Darcy is the right woman for him at this very crucial time of his life. Although it is her job to send him home, Darcy falls for him thus complicating an already complex situation. It goes without saying the eroticism is set on high between them and it enhances the story.

Seduction of the Muse by Charlotte Featherstone

Aidan, The Duke of Rutherford is a recluse due to injuries he has suffered. He feels that no one will want him especially the woman he loves. Lady Emily Beaumont is a thirty year old virgin who wants to experience passion. She plans to visit the Temple of Flora where she can fulfill her sexual needs. Aidan, aware of her plans, decides he will be the one to fulfill her needs.

Ms. Featherstone has written another winning historical novella. The reader can feel the anguish and torment that Aidan suffers as well as the love that Emily feels for him. Seduction of the Muse is a wonderful and lyrical piece of work. It brings together the romance and sexual heat that pulses between Aidan and Emily. The supporting cast was terrific especially Aidan’s twin, Michael who deserves his own Muse!!!
