Douglass Fraser has
a crash landing on an alien planet and she thinks her wildest dreams have
come true. Not only does the king want her as his wife and mother of his
child, but she also gets three sexy hunks to pleasure her in every
imaginable way, plus she suddenly seems to be the savior of the whole
planet. But it seems to be that someone has something against her newfound
happiness.
Ms. Pearce created,
with this world of Viking descendants, a fascinating and compelling
setting for this novel. The whole society hierarchy is very intriguing and
it is interesting to see how the heroine finds her own way into this
system. Douglass isn’t a meek heroine and she definitely doesn’t let her
life be easily ruled by the sometimes-overbearing alpha king Marcus Blood
Axe. She really fights for her own interest and for her men, so that even
the intrigue-spinning “villainess” of the story doesn’t stand a chance
against her.
Marcus Blood Axe is
a pure dominant alpha, even if he is sometimes a little bit too dominant,
but in the end, he follows his heart.
An additional
aspect that makes the story so interesting and hot, are Douglass’s three
bodyguards. They bring even more spice into the story.
Altogether,
PLANET MAIL is a story with a fascinating setting, intriguing
characters and a fast-paced and sometimes surprising storyline.
This reviewer can
really recommend this book and she hopes that there will be a sequel.
