Although headstrong
and willful, Marjory de Warenne has the looks of an angel with her silver
hair and pale green eyes. As a lady-in-waiting, she gives her heart to
the infamous Guy de Beauchamp. Her father and brother are not happy with
her choice and when Guy asks them for her hand, they give him a lot of
reasons why he is not suitable and that Marjory has chosen someone else.
Marjory never learns that he has asked for her hand and she is led to
believe that he has betrayed her. Their lives go separate ways. Through
her marriage, her husband’s death, through her dalliance with Robert the
Bruce, one man invades her thoughts and dreams. The passion that she once
found with Guy will again be rekindled as history marches on.
