Romantic Suspense/Romantica

Daire Cronin is a man’s man and a woman’s wet dream.  He is also a stone cold assassin that works a government agency that does not exist.  Daire is intensely loyal to his friends and to the one woman that he has ever loved, Star Kiernan.  And just as devout in his hate for his handler, Tyndall Gentry, who is insanely in love with Daire.

Uncomfortable with the risks inherent with Daire’s profession, Star breaks it off when she learns that she is pregnant.  However, when she discovers that their daughter needs a bone marrow transplant Star must turn to Daire.  Still in love with him, Star must decide if she is going to give their relationship another chance.

Looking for a story wrought with danger, insanity and a love worth dying for?  Then you need look no further than HARD WIND by Ms. Boyett-Compo.  This tale is a wild roller coaster of a ride with a villain and her lackeys that you will love to hate; a hero that can be just as evil as the villains, and a heroine who will do what it takes to protect her interests.  Sit down, buckle up and be prepared to be taken by a HARD WIND

HARD WIND is all about the characters. Daire is all alpha and utterly gorgeous.  He is a man who loves and hates with an equal passion.  Star is a feisty, independent heroine that is more than Daire’s match.  Gentry is an obsessed woman who if she can not have Daire is prepared to ensure that no one can.  There are also several other well developed secondary characters that add much to the tale, especially Daire’ best friend Jackson who is always ready with a wise crack.

This reviewer highly recommends HARD WIND to any readers who enjoy romantic suspense.  It has to be one of the best this reviewer has read this year.
