When a plate of
chili cheese fries brings Maggie to the attention of the Chase brothers,
she discovers that lowering her dating standards is not in her horizon.
Burned by one of the Chase boys, Maggie then discovers love with another.
However, one of the men that she dated a few times is not about to let
Maggie escape him. Can Maggie escape him with her life and her love
intact?
GIVING CHASE
by Lauren Dane is an enjoyable tale about small town life; where having
honor, compassion, courage and friends really counts for something. Ms.
Dane has done a wonderful job with the people of Petal, Georgia. All of
the Chase boys are incredibly sexy with very diverse personalities.
Maggie and her friends, Liv and Dee, are women that this reviewer would
love to have as friends. Maggie’s mother and sister are people the reader
will love to hate. And the villain, well I do not want to say much about
him other than the fact that he has real issues. This reader would love
to visit Petal and meet some of these interesting people.
In GIVING CHASE,
Ms. Dane has again graced her readers with a superb storyline, however
there were several issues with editing that greatly diminished this
reviewer’s enjoyment of the story. These issues included discrepancies in
the time line and missing words in some sentences. Hopefully Ms. Dane
will pick up another editor for the remaining books of this series as this
reader is dying to read more about the Chase brothers.
