A Second
Chance
by Julia Templeton
Deanie
and her friend Karen are so angry about unfaithful husbands, that they
would do anything, even going back in time to the Regency period to get a
second chance with love. Deanie awakes in the body of Reece Rayborne’s
unfaithful wife and can’t believe her good luck when she meets Reece, but
will he be able to forgive her the betrayals of the past?
A Second
Chance
is a beautiful time-travel story which proves that true love can not only
endure time and space, but also the difference of their ages and all other
problems that occur. The problems of Reece and Deanie are absolutely
understandable and realistic. Sometimes it isn’t so easy to believe that
there will be a second chance.
Shame On
Me
by Eve Jameson
After
a decade Zack King comes back into Blair Master’s life, but she doesn’t
want to have anything to do with the man who broke her heart, when he left
her without a word. She has a blackmailer to catch and Zack is only a
distraction, but he wants her back.
Ms.
Jameson delivers with Shame
On
Me
a hot and interesting story. The sexual tension between Zack and Blair is
even after ten years undeniable and they can’t do anything else than
follow their instincts.
Undiplomatic Relations
by Ashley Ladd
When
Kady Elliott witnesses a very heartless massacre, she decides to change
her life, but she has to prove to her ex-lover and rebel commander Shane
Trigilio that she really means it. He wants her complete submission in
every way to prove her will to change.
Undiplomatic Relations
is a fast-paced and interesting story. It’s a tale of regaining the trust
between lovers again. It’s not an easy task for both sides and Ms. Ladd
describes their process in a believable and very hot way. It’s a joy to
read it.
All
three stories of the Chances are anthology are special in their own way
and are a joy to read. The combination of a Time-travel, Contemporary & a
Futuristic story was well chosen.
