Contemporary Erotica

Felicia DuBois is devoting her life and career to a wildcat sanctuary in southern California. While her job involved the fund-raising aspects of finding the money to keep the cats safe and fed, other problems at the sanctuary are boggling her mind and stressing her and the other staff out. Her entire life centers around the cats and their home, her sex life is even affected by the time she is spending there… In fact, most of her sex life occurs there and with the co-workers she must face on a daily basis.

CAT SCRATCH FEVER is an erotic romance that starts with a bang and keeps pumping and grinding until the end. The characters are developed enough to give this hot sexual novel a plot, but not enough to draw them out into characters you want to keep in your head after the sex ends. This reader would have loved to have gotten to know more about some of the secondary characters outside of the bedroom. The plot was intriguing and filled with enough sex to keep readers panting.

The reviewer has no problems with ménage a trios scenes, but she does have problems with characters who jump from one sexual partner to another without mentioning their recent sexual enterprises to the new friend in the bed, or out as the case may be. Felicia is promiscuous to a point where this reviewer found herself turned off. I wanted her to succeed in her relationship with Gabe, but could not get past the recent sexual encounters enough to have in depth feelings for any of the characters. This reviewer’s best description of this leans toward well written, but needs depth for the main and secondary characters. If you are looking for a HOT read with a light plot, this novel is for you.
