This is a very sweet, sensual story of a rough soldier marrying a soft and gentle virgin. Ms. Devlin lets Lord Roland use all his experiences in romancing a woman. This is sexy, sensual and very romantic. The battle of the sexes was never so sweet. A great read and a good story to start this anthology.

Dance of the Plain Jane by Lillian Feisty

Jane has been lusting after Michael, a Navy SEAL for a long time. When he comes into the club where she dances, she sees her chance. While mesmerized, he craves to touch her undulating hips and much more. Jane realizes, when he suddenly leaves her after she opens herself to him, that trust is a very fragile thing.

A lovely story of a heroine who is not the usual slim beauty, but she gets the handsome hero and in such a way that will certainly thrill the reader and will have her considering taking belly dance lessons herself. Ms. Feisty has written a hot, sexy, satisfying story that this reader really enjoyed very much.

Club Vamp by Allyson James

Kenelm needs a daughter of Orsiris in order to survive. His friend, lover and giver of blood Adam, helps him find her. Together they seduce her and before the Guardians come to tear her away and stop Kenelm from restoring his full power, they need to persuade her that she is indeed his true mate.

Allyson James has contributed a hot vampire story for this anthology which is as dark as it is delicious. Although a short story, Ms. James keeps the reader on the edge of her seat wondering what is going to happen next. Her characters leap from the pages and the sex scenes are hot. This reviewer loved this story.

Choosing Madison by Sherrill Quinn

Madison never really believed her eccentric friend’s stories of being an alien until suddenly two strange men appear before her and whisk them both off to a spaceship. Her friend is being brought back to her fiancée and she is going with her to experience the adventure of her life; for those two men are attracted to her and it is their custom as bond-brothers to share the same wife.

A futuristic story with a great plot, handsome, larger-than-life heroes, and a heroine who is lucky to get two men. What more could a woman want? What more could a reader want? This reviewer must admit that menáge stories are one of her favorites and this one was sensual, emotional and had this reviewer panting at the end. Ms. Quinn knows how to keep the reader’s attention throughout this thrilling story.

Come Howling by Denise Rossetti

When Maeve O’Brian comes to Luc to look for a job he finds out she is a banshee, a woman with a curse. Maeve’s sexy voice has him hard and needy. Luc would do anything to help Maeve, even go to the devil.

This story is a bit lighter and had this reader chuckling at Maeve’s plight. As with the rest of the stories in this anthology, this one is hot, sensual and exciting. Ms. Rossetti gives her readers a special kind of paranormal with special kind of beings.

Lyrael’s Sacrifice by Jory Strong

Lyrael has been chosen to be sacrificed to the Djinn. When she is left tied up with enough food and water for seven days, and a piece of fruit to end her life if she so chooses, Asrafil comes to her. Enraptured by her beauty, he hopes she can pass the tests in order to join him in the city of the Djinn as his mate.

Now, this story is the one that gave this reviewer shivers. Beautifully told, Jory Strong puts a lot of emotion into her characters. Lyrael’s fear and courage show through in this author’s excellent writing. Asrafil’s determination, hope and love reach out to the reader. The sex scenes are very sensual as Asrafil leads Lyrael down an erotic path. This story was the best!
