Contemporary Romance

Part of the Royal House of Illyria series, THE PRINCE’S CONVENIENT BRIDE has a mix of New Zealand and European scenery to tempt the reader.

Prince Marco Considine is a playboy, who finally meets his match in top model, Jacoba Sinclair. She is a woman of great beauty and some well kept secrets, ones she has vowed never to reveal. Despite the sexual magnet that calls them to unite, she keeps Marco at arms length. A media release by a scorned reporter destroys Jacoba and her sister’s life in the shadows. They have kept the promise to their mother for many years and kept out of the limelight until now.

Marco is delighted to offer her sanctuary and his royal protection. He would offer almost anything to get Jacoba permanently into his bed. Neither of them realizes an old oath will help stop an assassin from carrying out his vow of revenge on two innocent women.

A page turning tale as plot and counter plot is played out. The conflict has many parts as vows are broken and murder is a likely happening. The reader will meet up with Gabe, Sara, Prince Alex and Ianthe his wife from the previous books. The hero and heroine are vividly drawn, leaving the reader in no doubt as to their inner thoughts and actions. The secondary characters are also a little different and intriguing, and added to the publicity video being shot when the story opens.

A touch of magic from the rubies and the standing stone, adds another layer to this interesting tale. Royal pageantry is also an interesting part of Illyria, and is woven into the fabric of the plot adding to the drama. Any fan of Ms. Donald will not be disappointed while reading Marco and Jacoba’s journey to happiness.
