Alexander McBee is struggling to make his private investigating business a success. But what would his clients think if they knew who was really solving their cases?  Herr Schnoodle is not the most attractive beast on four legs. He is downright ugly. But he knows how to solve mysteries. McBee soon counts his blessings the day that he saved the scruffy mix of schnauzer and poodle from death by drowning.  

Sit back and be prepared to laugh out loud.  HERR SCHNOODLE & MCBEE is a giggle fest of fun and excitement. McBee comes from a long line of policemen and is out to prove himself. He is a good-hearted man who has a bit of “Monk” in him…the germ phobia. Herr Schnoodle is quite a character, for a dog. He is smart as a whip and can solve any mystery that is placed before his nose.  Author P.K. Paranya’s gifted pen has penned these two characters so well that the reader can’t imagine them ever being apart.  

Smooth flowing, Ms Paranya’s prose is easy to follow, intriguing and a pleasure to read. This reviewer just couldn’t stop turning the pages to find out what caper our dashing duo would solve next. The secondary characters are equally well written. This reader was drawn to Apple Sally, a sweet bag lady with a mystery in her past that might come back to haunt her.  

HERR SCHNOODLE & MCBEE is a delightful tale that readers of the mystery genre will love. Not to be taken too seriously, this is a book to be savoured and enjoyed. Don’t miss out on this one. You just never know what mess HERR SCHNOODLE & MCBEE will have to clean up next!
