Djinni is the only daughter of the Saurian dragon and has been raised to despise Prince Tarrant-Arragon. Of course, she has no idea who Tarrant-Arragon really is when she first meets him. And since Djinni is daughter of the leader and betrothed to the commander of a group determined to overthrow Tarrant, he decides it in his best interests to hold back the entirety of his identity from her.

What follows is a fun and funny race across the galaxy as Tarrant attempts to win Djinni’s heart and make her his mate one way or the other. Along the way, he teaches Djinni a beautiful poem they will recite together at her welcoming party. Of course, he fails to mention the poem they are reciting is really wedding vows.

Rowena Cherry’s writing just keeps getting better and better with every book she releases. FORCED MATE is as hot as it is amusing. The action in this book is non-stop. Tarrant is determination personified and the hoops he jumps through in order to win his stolen bride are wonderful. This reader loved the glimpse into the Tigron culture and political twists and turns that FORCED MATE highlights so wonderfully.

Tarrant is arrogant and single-minded in his determination to get what he wants, but Djinni proves the perfect complement to him, drawing out his softer side and making Tarrant, dare I say it, more human.

Rowena Cherry’s FORCED MATE is sure to be a favorite among science fiction fans as well as romantic comedy fans alike. When Djinni and Tarrant come together, the galaxy will never be the same.
