When a bite is not
quite right, and then you stir in a handsome vampire hunter that fights in
the shadows of the night, you will open up a different vein called BITE
ME IF YOU CAN!
Leigh, the owner of a quaint
bar/eatery Coco’s, is walking home just before dawn when she is bitten,
then taken to a strange house, only to be found by a
too-handsome-for-his-own-good vampire hunter. His job will be to acquaint
Leigh to the new life that will be one of nighttime and blood. Yet, things
get dangerously tangled and a spark of sexual attraction between Leigh and
her vampire hunter will set this relationship on a completely different
course.
BITE ME IF YOU CAN
is by author Lynsay Sands. What an absolutely delightful paranormal
Ms.
Sands has crafted. It is sexy, original and, quite frankly, too good to
put down. In a voice colored with snappy words, great dialogues and
convincing characters, this reviewer fell in love within the first
chapter. Ms. Sands weaves a very compelling tale of unusual romance that
will have you laughing and smiling, long after the close of the book.
How the heck was
Leigh to know that one stupid
little nip on the neck would turn her life from day to night—literally?
But out of this bite, she is put into the world of
Lucian Argeneau, a vampire hunter, who
has lost the ability to, for a better word, be congenial. The man has the
tack of a dirty spoon and must learn once again the meaning of finding
love and trust, and, oh yeah, communication. Both Leigh and Lucian will
not only discover an unbelievable case of lust that exists between them,
but something much, much deeper. Open the book and discover it with them.
This is the type of
paranormal romance that will take you on a emotional journey, while
displaying superior character development that will leave you wanting more
of Ms.
Sands’ witting wordings. This reviewer
cannot wait to sink her teeth into the next book this outstanding author
pens.
