OH MY GOD! This was all I could say after reading WICKED GAMES. I loved Ms. Smith-Ready’s other books and this made me want to know what happens next once the last page is read. This author definitely delivers a one-two punch straight through the heart as the reader winds itself around all the players. Her writing is fast and tight, colorful and multidimensional characters light up the pages and I was definitely intrigued with all the dynamics that went on between them. If you want a unique take on vampires and are tired of the same old stories on them, try WICKED GAMES. You get to meet some wonderful characters that make you want to know more about them and an edge of the seat story that will leave you breathless for more as the climatic ending hits you straight in the solar plexus. Just a word of warning, this story will leave you growling as you search for when the next story of the WVMP and the people who make it their own. All I can ask is: When is the next coming?
