Sairah Mellon
dreams of a lover. Yet when she finally meets him face to face he tells
her a story that is almost unbelievable. If the werewolf hadn’t have
attacked her, and her dream lover not come to her rescue in the form of
a lion, she would have thought she was going crazy. However, she cannot
deny the attraction she feels. Now Cade knows that Sairah is his mate,
but she’s been raised on earth. He needs to persuade her that she is
part alien and a shifter, and she needs to go with him to her home
planet to fulfill the mating ritual. Well, if he can get her to stop
being mad at him, he may have a chance.
This was a nice
read. I liked the characters, the plot and of course, the sex was quite
nice too. Ms. Hasker does knows how to keep the sexual tension high
between the characters. Poor Cade cannot make love to Sairah until
after the mating ritual, so there is just a bit of frustration between
them. There is also the excitement of the werewolves coming to kill
Sairah and the resulting council that needs to be appeased. Sairah has
a lot to learn about her kind and it’s not easy. I did find the
dialogue a little stilted at times but otherwise the story was a lot of
fun. The reader may need to keep some ice nearby or make sure that a
significant other is around.
