Grace Barry is a financial consultant by day and a paid escort by night.  She provides fantasy sex to New York City’s wealthiest financiers.  Mark Chase is her Tuesday night date and one evening she finds him scared.  He thinks someone is following him.  Then on her next date with him, she enters the room to find him dead.  Now she’s the number 1 suspect in the murder of Max Chase.  She needs money for a top notch lawyer and gets the idea to sell her diary to any news channel willing to pay.  A big mistake, as now she is in danger and Alex ‘Iceman’ Winters now has to keep her safe.  While living together in a safe house, Alex begins a sensual seduction to find out exactly if the attraction he has for her is just curiosity or something more.  Grace manages to melt the Iceman, but he must first protect her and stop her from publishing her DIARY OF A MAD ESCORT. 

Catherine Chernow knows how to write a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.  The plot is exciting with lots of surprises and excitement.  She writes characters that leap off the pages.  A heroine who is both vulnerable but who wants to be assured and strong.  A hero, wow, a hero who is hard and cold at first, but who is so luscious the reader can’t help but fall in love with Alex.  His seduction methods will get the reader burning along with Grace.  Ms. Chernow sensually explores feelings, smells and tastes that will have the reader wanting to try it all out herself.  The dialogue is smart and snappy, and secondary characters give the story depth to the story.  I loved reading this story, it excited all my senses in every way.  I was hooked the moment Grace walked in on Max’s dead body.  Ms Chernos is an excellent writer and the reader would do well to pick up all her books.
