Samantha’s idea of a good time on a Friday night doesn’t include sitting in a car on a winter’s night running surveillence on a shadow stalker. Her partner hasn’t said much all evening. Samantha could think of some delicious things that could keep them warm, if he’d be interested. When he finally opens his mouth, he suggests a game of truth or dare. Soon, the game becomes more than a game and the car is fogging up.

Phew, Lacey Savage sure knows how to write a hot, hot, hot little story. She gives her readers characters that they can care about. So much so that this little story seems more like an appetizer for more. Ms. Savage teases and gets the reader going and has the reader warming up to Samantha and her sexy partner. This is a quickie with a bite that will leave ther reader panting for more.

Distraction by Elizabeth Jewell

Alaska seems like a winter haven for vampires. Long dark hours and plenty of people to get lost in. Glynna, Brandt and their companion Eric are hoping for some days of pleasure. Then it snowed. If they got hungry things could become a problem, unless a little distraction could be arranged and Glynna has the very idea.

If you like some man on man then this hot little story is for you. Elizabeth Jewell has written another tease that will certainly get the reader going. This reviewer has great respect for authors who can pull of a short story of this caliber. We have characters that leap from the pages and some hot sex that curls the toes. Bravo Ms. Jewell, this reviewer loved it.

Lionsblood by Marteeka Karland

It’s the future and earth is cold. Humans exist on the whim of the lionsblood and the hybrids. Being outside at night is suicide for humans. Incurring the wrath of a lionsblood can also be deadly, but this is exactly what Marie does. He’s her best friend but she’s played with him one time too many and now he is after his prey.

This is another hot little tease in the Snowbound line from Changeling Press. Marteeka Karland’s contribution is a hot little number that got this reader going. This reviewer has a big attraction for big, alpha types who know what they want and aggressively go after it. And after all, Marie does want it. Thank you Ms. Karland for the yummiest hero.

Bear Hug by Tuesday Morrigan

Alyssa has been Devlin’s nephew’s nanny. She knows their secret. But now she wants out, she’s had enough and wants to leave. There is a storm brewing and Devlin is trying to stop her. Devlin decides to persuade her to stay the only way he knows how and it’s time to show Alyssa that she has to stay forever.

Another hero with determination, this story thrilled this reviewer. Tuesday Morrigan has penned an exciting short story with some sensual, hot sex that will get the reader going. All these stories in the Snowbound line are quickies that are perfect for a winters night and will keep the reader snug and warm. In fact, it might be a good idea to keep a warm body nearby.
