Historical Fantasy

U.S. Navy pilot Lt. Alex MacNeil and his wife Lindsay are trapped in the 14th Century. Scotland has become their home and loyalty binds them to Robert the Bruce. Brought by magic and held by the bonds they share, their bond of love is about to get tested in ways neither foresee.

KNIGHT’S LADY is a well written story that will intrigue you from the beginning to the end. This reviewer found it hard to put down though I can say I never read the other books in this series and recommend reading them first to understand how Alex and Lindsay got to 14th Century Scotland as it does get confusing at times and mentions things in the other books. This reviewer loved the premise of magic, fairies and a love determined to survive in a place only known in a history book.

Meet the MacNeil’s: Alex and Lindsay. Brought to 14th Century Scotland by magic, they are bound to the time period by more than just magic but also by the bond they have with Robert the Bruce. When a surprise attack leaves Alex wounded and Lindsay taken, the pace heats up and you get lost amid the pages of KNIGHT’S LADY. Be ready to root for Lindsay as she fights to save herself from the clutches of Knight An Reubair and his desire for her while trying to stay true to her love, Alex. Exciting and fast paced, Ms. Lee delves in a world of magic, passion and history and conjures a story that will melt the will of her readers.

Be aware that to understand the full story, this reviewer recommends you read the first in the series before this one: Knight Tenebrae and Knight’s Blood. This reader knows that she will be reading them to get the whole story on Alex and Lindsay’s love story. Run to grab KNIGHT’S LADY as well as Julianne Lee’s others in this series for a wildly entertaining series that will knock your socks off.
