When 17-year-old
Violet Greenfield sees a very tall, chic looking woman one night at
work, yelling at the ticket person she has absolutely no idea what she
is in for. When Violet asks the woman to follow her and the woman
doesn’t, Violet could tell that the lady was blonde, but good grief.
However, the next day when she goes to school she has a modeling agency
card in her front pocket, because according to Miss Big Chanel glasses,
the lady from work, she could be the next big thing to hit the modeling
market.
This book was
very intriguing; this reader couldn’t put the book down after she got
about one chapter into it. Between the main character having to deal
with photo shoots and the jealousy of her best friends, there’s no room
for you to stop and breathe.
This book is
different from many others, the author actually worked with Elle
magazine and other big magazine names so she knew how these things
worked. The author also has great imagery in her book, this reviewer
could feel the way that Violet felt, or see Violet running to the
bathroom. At the end of this novel the reader saw that there will be a
prequel, and literally jumped up and down then proceeded to run through
the house and tell everyone that there would be a prequel. However, this
reader is very curious to see if the author can top this book, this
reviewer has faith though. Hopefully the reason for the rating of five
stars is obvious here, and this author will keep up the good writing.
