Nelina Lannen
thought she would never forget the day the King’s Men, the Guardians
came into her room and took her lover away from her. Since then dreams
have plagued her, sorrow has kept her from building a relationship with
another and her heart aches for the one man who owns her, body and soul.
Now the King’s Men are back, this time for her body! Get ready as
tradition has its say on one planet where it rules unequivocally.
ALL THE
KING’S MEN by author Lacey Savage is the first one this reviewer has
read and all this reviewer can say is OH MY GOD!!! With searing emotions
that hit you from the beginning, from the blazing passion that made this
reviewer check her computer so it didn’t burn up from the heat and the
tradition that rules it all, ALL THE KING’S MEN is one scorching
story that will leave you breathless.
Nelina has only
loved one man, Kirel, and never knew he was destined to be a Guardian to
the king. When he is taken from her, her heart shatters in a million
pieces. Strong, independent yet sensual, this character delves deep in
the reader’s heart and has the reader weep with suppressed emotions, the
pain of her loss and the passion that blazes in her dreams. Kirel is a
man duty bound to his King yet finding love with Nelina has him aching
for one more chance with her. Strong, determined to do the right thing
even if it kills him and loving the one woman who fit his soul had this
reviewer weeping as these two characters unfolded amid the pages of Ms.
Savage’s delicious Torrid Tarot story.
With each stroke
of her pen, Ms. Savage weaves a web of passion, heaving emotions and
some erotic sex that had this reviewer racing to turn the air
conditioner up on high. Exquisite in detail, Ms. Savage hits a home run
with ALL THE KING’S MEN, though be warned there is some M/M and
Group Sex involved in the course of the story. If you enjoy a highly
charged, sensual tale that has characters burying themselves deep within
your heart and have you longing to know more of their world, then grab
Lacey Savage’s ALL THE KING’S MEN and be lost amid the world of
tradition and a love determined to not be denied. This reviewer has to
ask: Will there be more of this world?
