Lydon
Andrianopolis, a bastard son of Zeus has come to Earth to escape Hera’s
wrath. After seducing her celibate priestesses and burning her temple,
there is no way he could stay on Olymp without Hera exacting revenge.
He arrives at the Napa Valley where Delos and Megaira are living. While
they make wine, he plans to raise horses. Then he meets their
advertising agent, Alexa and he knows his days of philandering are
over. Alexa’s breath is taken away when she sees Lydon, laying naked in
the hammock, resting. She should be afraid of him, but she is more than
attracted. But Alexa isn’t all she seems to be and Hera has a strange
hold over the woman. Will Hera find her revenge through Alexa, or will
their love break Hera’s control?
This is a short,
hot, stimulating story that entertains and thrills. The chemistry
between Lydon and Alexa is palpable and emotional. This is a wonderful
quickie for a rainy afternoon and this reviewer enjoyed it very much.
CJ Chatterly certainly knows how to write heroes to die for and can put
a few good twists and turns into the story to keep the readers’
interest. Although this reviewer saw the way this story was going, and
it was easy to guess the end, still it was an enjoyable read. This
reviewer loved getting to know the characters and feel the love between
them. It was nice meeting Delos and Megaira again too. This reviewer
is certainly looking forward to the next story in this series and hopes
it will be soon.
