Living among the
gods hasn’t been easy for Delos. As the son of Zeus, from one of his
father’s many lovers, Delos longs for his own mate who will be true only
to him. He’s tired of the games the gods play, the many lovers they
indulge in even though they are mated. He is himself often the target
of Hera’s wrath as she fears her husband’s bastard sons. Then he meets
Megaira, who has come home. She is no longer the young girl he knew
before, and when it is suggested they marry as she swears to love only
him everything sounds perfect. Only, Megaira is keeping a terrible
secret and if Zeus and Hera find out, it could mean her death and even
Delos’.
First of all,
this reviewer doesn’t usually go ga-ga over the cover of a book...but,
boy oh boy, this cover is fantastic, and if you imprint this cover on
your mind while you are reading this story it even comes more alive. CS
Chatterly has written a lovely story that is heartwarming and erotically
hot. Here we have a man who just wants a normal relationship with a
woman who will love him enough to be true to only him. And we have a
woman who needs someone to accept her and understand her dilemma. These
two characters match each other perfectly and the reader will certainly
be very pleased with the ending. This reviewer is waiting for the next
Sons of Olympus book.
