Romantic Fantasy

Alys flees from her uncle’s stronghold where she was held captive to the Isle of Nightfall, where she meets her closest childhood friend Wolfer again. Both of them harbour deep feelings for each other, but each of them has to overcome a huge obstacle before they can enjoy the special bond between them. Wolfer worries about the prophecy and Alys has the dark secret that her own uncle is behind the torment of the eight brothers. Will they find a way to help the brothers and his new sister-in-law, Kelly, to overcome all those problems and to find a happy ending for Alys and Wolfer?

Ms. Johnson continues with THE WOLF the wonderful saga that started with THE SWORD. This book reveals even more about the life and problems of the eight brothers and the reader is absolutely captivated by these fascinating characters. There is never a moment in this book where you think that the plot is getting slow, because you are so drawn into the story that you can’t stop reading. This reviewer was sad when she reached the end, because she needs to know what happens next…

It’s fun to see how the characters develop in this story, especially the changes that Alys undergo as soon as Kelly takes her under her wings. There are funny, sensual and dramatic moments in THE WOLF, that makes this book a real keeper.

THE WOLF continues where THE SWORD ended so this reviewer highly recommends reading THE SWORD prior reading THE WOLF. And I have to tell you the whole series is addictive, you won’t get enough of these brothers. Altogether this reviewer highly recommends the Sons of Destiny series to all fans of romantic fantasy.  Ms. Johnson is a rising star in this genre and you definitely will want to keep an eye on her.
