FIRE AND ICE

Ebook
Contemporary Erotic Romance/BSDM

This two novels in one eBook is hot, Hot, HOT!

MIDNIGHT RAID opens as Samantha awakens her ex-lover, and tells him of his transgressions. This lady cop received an anonymous tip about Jack, a man she previously arrested and then made her lover and decides to scare him straight.  Although she isn’t sure he is guilty she knows she must make sure he know she is watching his every move – her testimony at his trial got him out of prison time after all.

Paige E. Roberts opens this novella with a bang.  She puts fear in the readers hearts for Jack’s safety and takes BDSM to a level that this reader hopes is only in fiction tales – yet leaves the reader breathless with desire all in one stroke of her naughty pen.  This reader found herself drawn to the computer screen and unable to move until this fascinating tale ended.  Ms. Roberts is a talented author who knows how to draw the reader in, and keep them glued to her tale.

Michael and Eve heat up the scene in FIRE AND ICE with a realistic scene of a D/s couple with twists.  The drama begins when Eve expects Michael to end their relationship and move on to look for a suitable wife.  Eve knows she can never be his wife, she is already married, and pagan with dominatrix traits that his family will never accept.  When he agrees to come home with her, she wonders at his plans, but knows she will accept whatever he can give her.

As they play out Eve’s fantasy as a Domme, Michael submits to chains, ice and wax in a hot scene that will melt reader’s hearts.  Ms. Roberts has created a tale that is realistic and hot enough to make this reader want to submit to Eve instead of living the vanilla life she knows.  The downfall to this tale is the short length of the novella leaves Eve and Michael with no resolution to their dilemma.  This reviewer wants more of Eve, her husband, and Michael and hopes Ms. Roberts takes this tale a step further into a novel.
