Wanting to
surprise her family, Gina Locke decides to travel on Christmas Eve and
visit them after seven years. But the storm is getting worse and worse
and she ends up at a strange house with a rather sweet and friendly lady
who lets her stay for the night. The lady, Ruth, mentions that there is
another guest in the house and that they must share a bathroom. Imagine
Gina’s surprise when she meets Luke, the man who she found in bed with
another woman just before their wedding day. She never did stop to hear
his explanation and has never really stopped loving him. Ruth offers
the couple some elderberry wine and suddenly Gina is transported back in
time, is in bed with John, who looks strangely like Luke, who is an
indentured servant and has not only a lesson to learn, but a mystery to
solve.
THE ENCHANTED
INN is a time travel tale
that is refreshing and unique. Ms. Champagne has written a really
clever story that will get the reader thinking and wondering and
hoping. She demands the reader engage all her emotions in this
fantastic story and this reviewer was certainly scrolling those cyber
pages desperately wondering what would happen next. This is a story you
can totally get lost in and become part of. Almost as if Ms. Champagne
takes the reader on a journey into the past. The romance is sexy,
sensual and toe curling. Her characters are well written and the reader
will be rooting for Gina. This reviewer just spent a very entertaining
couple of hours reading this story and looks forward to more from the
pen of Pam Champagne. This reviewer hopes there is a sequel in the
works, as she would really look forward to it.
