DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

Paperback
Paranormal Romance

All magic practitioners are subject to an ancient force called the soulmate imperative ‘SMI’ which demands that once they meet their soulmates that they settle down and mate with them.  Computer wizard Clay Morgan really wasn’t ready for the SMI to hit him, especially considering the fact that his soulmate isn’t even a magic practitioner and certainly don’t believe in magic.

Having been burned badly in the past, Francie Stevens has no use for good looking men.  In fact she does everything possible to prevent them from even noticing her.  However Clay Morgan has noticed her and every time they touch, her common sense seems to fly out the window.

Looking for a paranormal romance that doesn’t have a vampire or a shifter in sight?  How about one with just the right mix of humor and angst? Want a break from tales that are dark and gritty?  Then look no further then DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? by Ann Macela.   Well written with a great plot, believable characters and snappy dialogue, Ann Macela has yet another winner on her hands.  Be forewarned though, it is almost impossible to set DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? aside for anything so be sure to have a day blocked out to do nothing but enjoy yourself.

Clay Morgan is a confident man who is so accustomed to everything working out in his favor that it is a real treat watching Francie turn him inside out.  Readers will have to give him kudos on the way that he slowly draws Francie out of her shell.  Watching Francie grow from a woman who hides her beauty and sexuality to one that is more then a match for Clay is a pleasure.  This reviewer was also happy to find that Clay’s sisters, who were introduced in the first book THE OLDEST KIND OF MAGIC, also make appearances and add in some much needed female wisdom.  This reviewer does want to note that while reading THE OLDEST KIND OF MAGIC is recommended for sheer enjoyment, it is certainly not required as DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? do a wonderful job of standing on its own.

This reviewer recommends DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? to any readers who enjoy contemporary paranormal romances.  And while you are picking up DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC? from your local book store be sure to pick up the first book in the series THE OLDEST KIND OF MAGIC  and block out an entire weekend for yourself.
