Paranormal Romance/Demons

While normally Shay Pearson spends her nights hunting horribly ugly demons, now she is spending her days hunting the gorgeous surfer Nic Diavolo, who just happens to be half demon.   Once she catches him, Shay will have to determine whether Nic knows about his demon side and whether or not he is evil.  Oh and she would also like to know just why he is showing up so often in her visions.

With HUNTING THE DEMON, author Jaci Burton has another hit on her hands!  From the very first page, readers are drawn into this first rate paranormal action story by the snappy dialogue, non-stop action, incredible scenery and characters, both old and new, that are all too easy to relate too.  And let’s not forget the romance between Shay and Nic which is definitely a very tasty icing on this all too delicious cake.

This reviewer very much enjoyed HUNTING THE DEMON with its fast pace and dialogue that had me choked up with laughter more than once.  The characters on the side of the good were extremely realistic with their strengths, fears and weaknesses.  The one drawback to the book however was the fact that the villains just didn’t seem strong enough and caused this reader to wonder just why all the worry about defeating them.  Aside from that caveat, HUNTING THE DEMON is an excellent book and one that this reviewer recommends to all lovers of the paranormal and action books.  Be sure to pick up your copy today.
