Except in the backwoods of Cornwall, he never expected to meet a suitable woman much less fulfill the pledge he made in a heat of the moment. But then he meets his new next door neighbor and finds himself drawn to the fiery, independent beauty, who causes him to question his bold boast and after one searing kiss, the chase is on as Gervase tries to convince Madeline that she belongs next to him and the fire between them blazes out of control long after that first seduction. 

BEYOND SEDUCTION is the next installment from the wonderful author, Stephanie Laurens, in the Bastion Club series. Ms. Laurens delivers another timeless classic that will leave the readers wanting more and wondering who is next to take that riskiest role of all: as a husband. This reviewer has read a few of these Bastion Club books and has found that Ms. Laurens delivers a bang up job each time. With each page, she delves deeper into the hearts of her characters and causes the reader and this reviewer to wait with a bated breath at the next twist and turns.  

BEYOND SEDUCTION is the story of Gervase Tregarth, the 6^th Earl of Crowhurst, who in a burst of recklessness, decides that the first eligible woman in the wilds of Cornwall will be his new bride. When he meets Madeline, his new neighbor, he finds himself longing for more from this independent woman, who is determined to not be another one of Gervase’s conquests. When these two go head to head, sparks fly all over and this reviewer was wondering if the book was going to combust from all the sexual tension amid the pages. Madeline Gascoigne is a wonderfully fresh breath of air as she is a spirited and very independent character. With just right amount of sass, Madeline goes toe to toe with Gervase yet tries to resist his seduction even though she longs to feel passion’s first kiss. 

BEYOND SEDUCTION is definitely a delight as Ms. Lauren’s delivers another classic to her Bastion Club series. This reviewer can only ask is: Who is next? With captivating characters, intriguing storylines and a romance that leads them to their hearts desires, the reader can get lost amid the beautiful regency period that Ms. Laurens has captured as her own and keep her readers clamoring for more as the last page is read. Run to grab this next exceptional installment of the Bastion Club series and find yourself drawn into a world where love, passion and seduction keep the readers charmed and enthralled.
