Along for the Ride

If there is one person that Detective Megan Matthews dreads finding at the crime scene it would be police photographer Ryan Lucas. Looking for an enjoyable read peopled with two leads whose attraction to each other is hot enough to burn the print right of the pages and a wonderfully wacky supporting cast that you can’t help but love. Then you need look no further than Michelle M. Pillow’s ALONG FOR THE RIDE.

Ms. Pillow has outdone herself with the characters in this delightful tale. Megan is so determined to live only through her job and not accept that her attraction to Ryan might be more than just sexual that this reader wanted to shake her before she looses out on a good thing. Ryan is the exact opposite. He knows that he wants Megan and is willing to share his heart with her if only she would accept it. The only thing that these two seem to do right together is sex. But what sex… This reader picked up a few tips to try out with her significant other. Rounding out the cast is Megan’s family and the denizens of Ryan’s apartment building all who are slightly tilted and add a rather enjoyable comedic slant to this tale.
